I was planning to transfer to Boise State and wanted to get my generals completed at half the cost that BSU would charge. I wanted to get the community college experience before transferring to a university. I didn't know exactly what university I was going to transfer to after CSI. Attending CSI gave me more time to decide on what university I wanted to enroll in. When I first decided I was going to be attending CSI, I had no idea what to expect. Prior to the first day of class I had never been to Twin Falls before. I had only heard of Twin Falls a few times. When I attended my first day of class I noticed how it wasn't that different from high school. The class sizes were small and the teachers gave the impression they wanted us to succeed. Two year later I can honestly say I am glad I chose to come to CSI!

I know what it’s like to struggle and be scared in school. Yes, my first day here was scary, but I’ve found friends, activities, opportunities, and instructors who really care about me. The people at CSI know what it is to be new. They’re all nice and helpful. If you’re struggling in class, they help you. CSI also has fun programs you can join, like Community Service, Program Board, Senate, Honors, and more. Some of them even offer scholarships. How awesome is that? I used to be an unsocial person but now I love meeting new people. I’m in the Student Senate and Honors programs and I absolutely love it here. Thank you CSI for helping me get over my fears and for making me a better person!
